As an effective means of energy saving control of products, air conditioning energy efficiency standards have been widely adopted in many countries, but the level of energy efficiency standards varies due to objective factors such as geographic and economic. Performs a theoretical analysis of the differences in energy efficiency test requirements and calculation methods between the EU energy efficiency standard EN 14825:2016 and the Chinese standard GB/T 7725-2004, and verifies them through experiments. The results show that the SEER and SCOP of the EU standard is 62% and 20% higher than that of the Chinese standard respectively, and the energy efficiency level rated by the EU standard is lower than that rated by the Chinese standard for the same air conditioner.
